Historic tin ceiling panels were removed from the 1st floor of The Hickory Building at 16 East Washington in Champaign.  Prices are:  trim and cove @ $3/foot; 2×4 or 2×8 panels @ $1/per decorative square; and, damaged pieces in the yard @ $1/foot.

Historic sidewalk and street pavers are available for purchase.  The 9-pound street pavers and 5-pound sidewalk pavers are from  Urbana streets and sidewalks dating from the late 1800s to the early 1900s.  Clean pavers are stacked on pallets ready to be sold at 50 cents for a street paver and 25 cents for a sidewalk paver.  Sign up and pay for pavers at the PACA Salvage Warehouse.  Pick them up at the Urbana Public Works work yard in Northeast Urbana

The Joseph Busey House was a significant example of the Queen Anne style.  It was the home of Carrie Busey, secretary to four Champaign school superintendants.  Carrie Busey Elementary school was named for her in 1957.
