Wooden library card catalog cases were recently donated to PACA. Over 110 units have been sold to date. The cases are constructed of a variety of materials including oak, maple, and poplar. Two styles of cases are available: the one-piece unit is 42wx60hx17d and the modular unit is 33wx15hx17deep. The modular units can be stacked. The file drawers originally held 3×5 cards. Some reuse ideas include storage of hardware and craft supplies. As of December, all of the card catalog cases in stock have been sold. However, it is possible that a new shipment will be donated next summer. PACA is taking names of people interested in purchasing cases and they will be notified when new cases arrive. Call 217.359.7222 to add your name to the list.
