Since 1981, PACA has conducted tours of the historic resources of Champaign County. Tours have varied by type and site and have included walking, bus, and even horse-drawn carriage tours. Generally, a semi-annual house tour is held in a Champaign or Urbana neighborhood with proceeds divided between PACA and the neighborhood organization.
In the past, PACA has conducted tours of residential properties, commercial properties, churches, cemeteries, and barns. Below is a list of past tours.
2006 - A Stroll Through Historic West Urbana Fall House Tour, held jointly with the West Urbana Neighborhood Association.
2005 - Promenade on Park St., Church and University Ave., held jointly with Champaign West Park Neighborhood Association
2004 - Mt. Hope Cemetery Tour, held jointly with the Champaign Urbana Theater Company (CUTC)
2002 - Sesquicentennial Champaign Neighborhood Fall House Tour, held jointly with Champaign’s Sesquicentennial Neighborhood Association
1999 - Fall House Walk, held jointly with the Society for the Preservation of Greek Housing. Eight Greek Chapter Houses were featured.
